The ICCI Construction Project
From the blessings of Allah (swt), the Islamic Community Center of Illinois which we will refer to as ICCI was established in 2001 after 10 years of organizing, fundraising, and selecting the site of our new Masjed (Mosque).
In the past 15 years, the ICCI witnessed an exponential growth in members, congregation, and services to the community. The ICCI currently holds two Juma’s, Friday Prayer, over 80 students in the ICCI Academy, an accredited Full-time school with licensed teachers and staff, over 700 students in both the Dar Al-Hikmah (After school Program) & The Weekend School, over 100 young youth in the Youth Program, as well as many invited guests, lectures, and seminars in service to our community.
With this growth, the ICCI has endeavored on a project to expand the infrastructure of the building to accommodate our growing community by constructing a 24,000 square foot building to accommodate our growing schools. The new building will accommodate over 10 large new classrooms, a gym, a library, computer lab, science lab, offices, and a hall to accommodate special events.
On behalf of our community, we seek your prayer and support in accomplishing this project. The estimated cost for this project will be $2,000,000. We have by the blessing of Allah (swt) have commitments in the amounts of $500,000 and we are seeking the balance so we may timely complete this project. We request that you give $5,000, $1,000, $100, or any amount you can afford. Establishing a Masjed is Sadaqa Jariyah. Allah will multiply your rewards ten to seven hundred times.
